Sabu vs. Devon Storm
Sabu vs. Devon Storm 11/17 at the Golden Dome in Monaca, PA is a rematch of their meeting in Philadelphia, PA from this past June. Sabu is death-defying no doubt. After his no-show to the 4/28 Extreme Reunion show that landed him in a hospital, and then rehab, is back to show that although he has put his body through hell and beyond over his career –that the homicidal, suicidal, genocidal maniac known as Sabu has what it takes to become the first champion of Extreme Rising –and many fans would like to see that as they feel he deserves it for all he has done for the sport. This however is just the first round of the tournament.
Devon Storm on the other hand is a disturbingly quiet individual who has flown under the fans radar pretty much his entire career. Devon Storm or Crowbar –whatever you know him as is determined that even though he has lost every outing since debuting for Extreme Reunion/Rising against Jerry Lynn, Homicide, and even Sabu, is that Storm has had a game plan the entire time. Devon Storm knows that the three men just listed all have extensive injuries throughout their career and though he wouldn’t have mind to win his matches, he was more focused on drawing each individual out to their maximum punishing them with a grueling match and then giving each a false sense of security by winning. This entire time Devon Storm sits and plots his battles up to and now through the title tournament. Devon Storm vs. Jerry Lynn 4/28 Philly saw an incredible back and forth battle that many fans say saved the show. On 6/29 in Corona New York Homicide was taken to task in a crazy fight that left Storm with a gash in the back of his head and over a dozen stitches. Then on 6/30 Storm made Sabu fight the fight in and out of the ring, as Sabu constantly left the ground flying beyond the guard rails, and through tables and chairs. Storm is arguably in the best physical shape out of the three above mentioned competitors, and is a licensed chiropractor and a master at bones and muscle manipulation to keep himself in peak physical condition to do battle and launch himself into the final Extreme Rising title tournament round to capture the Title championship for himself. Don’t ever trust the quiet ones.
Sabu vs. Devon Storm –an extreme rematch is an understatement.
